Privacy policy
How MemoHoney collects, uses, stores and shares your personal information, the choices you have over your data, and how to contact us about a privacy request.
Who we are
This policy explains how MemoHoney (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through com-memohoney.com. If you have a question about anything here, email [email protected].
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number where provided, and the contents of any message you send us.
- Payment information. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our servers. We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card.
- Technical information. IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring URL, collected automatically as you browse.
How we use it
- To process, pack, ship and support your order.
- To answer your enquiries and handle refund requests.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To send marketing email, but only where you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link that works.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to do their job: our payment processor, our fulfilment and shipping partners, our email service provider, and our analytics provider. Each is bound to use the information only for the service they provide to us.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority, or in connection with a merger or sale of business assets.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used in aggregate. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; blocking them may prevent checkout from working correctly.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically seven years. Support correspondence is kept for two years. Marketing contact details are deleted on unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or withdraw consent. To make a request, email us with enough detail to locate your record. We will respond within the time frame the applicable law requires.
California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA.
Children
This site and product are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and changes
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission at checkout. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
